for unexplained reasons, me and my mother went to Y's house. we had spent a considerable amount of time there, as if we had ourselves been living in the house.
then, quite unexpectedly, i ventured outside only to find Y's mom, X. for some odd reason, she was walking, and had shaving cream on her face (almost like it was covering a fake beard). X was walking towards the house and upon seeing me exit, X became infuriated.
she started intensely flipping out at me. i tried to explain to her, and said something along the lines of 'come on, we've got to be rational here'. this to her must have sent something off, as she flipped out even more. whatever happened next i do not remember too clearly, other than a decent sized box (one that could fit an enormous computer monitor) somehow fell on top of X, and then the box jumped up again and a cat sprung out from inside.. (black cat?)
seeing the cat, i made a dash towards the house and the cat followed closely behind.
when i reached Y's front door, (the one on the porch) I slammed the door shut immediately, with minor struggle, locking and leaving the cat outside. somehow, i could tell that this cat was X and she was upset. from then on, i remember nothing.
all i remember is this jumbled sequence of events.
me and T were in the back of an SUV. (a large one, possibly A's ford explorer). the car was driving with me in the the back driver's side seat and T in the back passenger side seat. we saw, almost immediately, members from the local band "Moon Halo".. T and i found this particularly amusing, so we rolled down our windows. now i am not sure if T did this also (though most likely he did). after i rolled down my window, i stuck my head outside the car and started shouting lyrics to that particular band's songs. we could have been at an intersection in Southington, possibly near the west side of town. either way, we both shouted and had our laughs.
next thing i know, both me and T were in the local park. (the same local park i had grown to know very well, however with many additions i had never seen before; suspiciously familiar to an air show i had attended many years earlier). it was a hot and sunny day, and the park was filled with life. T was acting unusually immature, but i thought nothing of it. apparently T kept stretching the collar of his shirt until it barely covered both of his shoulders. something in his face, words, actions and the gleam in his eye told me he was much younger than i and had much to learn. he was excitedly explaining something which i have now forgotten (he might have been bragging about how intoxicated he was).
then, the next thing i remember is being in a far edge of the park, strangely reminiscent of a reoccurring 'dream' park which defies any explanation but is only characterized by my immediate recognition of having already been there in a dream.
anyway, i was at the edge of this park, and much was happening, life was everywhere. all kinds of sports were being played, specifically football and soccer. something suddenly reminded me of an ex-girlfriend. while watching everyone having a time (neither good nor bad) i specifically remember when i used to play football as a child. familiar feelings of contempt, darkness and and apathy come to mind. specific sights, smells and sounds of this time period quickly manifest. i watch for a while, contemplating those in the park now, and me in the park years and years ago, once again in the wheel of the constant flow of being involved in organized sports. the rest of the dream fades away after this, but everything leading up to that was crystal clear in a way unlike the average dream.

In Norse legend the cat is depicted drawing the chariot of their fertility goddess, Freyja, and therefore the cat is thought of as a blessing upon newborns and a good omen for those increasing their family ranks.
In ancient Egypt cats were sacred and were even depicted on the head of their lunar goddess, Bastet which was worshipped by the ancient Egyptians. In her honor, cats were even mummified along with mice for them to eat.
