Notes from April 24th, 1992

Night of April 24, 1992. Friday.

These are some notes from April 24th, 1992, as my wife had the letter out which also had some dream records from other dates, but those I will include elsewhere. One "symbol" was "twin" palm trees slanted outward in the form of a "V". This is possibly from a memory of the 1963 comedy movie "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World", where four palm trees form a "big W" - the goal to find it being the main theme of the movie. Coincidentally, "Big W" was the name of the store we shopped at when I came to Australia. Also, the image from the movie looked a bit like "I X I" (though slanted), implying both a nine and an eleven. ("IX" and "XI").

There is also a black cat next to a white cat on a fence in "front of" the moon. Interestingly, in the present (2014) there are a lot of plays on a black cat and a white cat in Yin Yang symbolism, at least a couple either including a heart or suggesting a heart by the combined tail curves. There is also a "cat Yin Yang" that is shaped like a somewhat rounded hexagon.

Pepé Le Pew is eyed by an eagle (seems non-threatening). A skunk is also a loose representation of Yin Yang due to the black and white curves in the tail. "Le Pew" is also a close play on my own surname, unfortunately.

Reference to Gooseberry Falls State Park.

"Mother" seahorse and "baby" seahorse. I note the seahorse's tail curves like that of an opossum as well as implying another form of Yin Yang with the spiral (or six-like or nine-like) element. Seahorses look almost imaginary and mythical, though real. I also associated them with my yet-to-be wife because of the "SH" (Sea Horse) when using her anglicized first name.
