The Bad Witch (precognitive and soulmate revelatory)

Morning of March 16, 1978. Thursday. (Newly researched, validated, and with clearer writing on Monday, 7 September 2015 and re-examined in another entry - “The Bad Witch” Re-examined.)

A very attractive curly-dark-haired girl (who seems mostly of a composite of Brenda W and my “mystery girl” who turned out to be visually precognitive of my wife-to-be) is living in an eerie-looking small building that is also somehow part of the orange tree in the southwest corner of the orange grove in Cubitis. I somehow had not noticed it before within the supposed history of my dream’s back story. There seems to be a fairly long time period where I am mostly just thinking about this unusual structure and wondering if anyone lives there.

The girl and I later sit together on the concrete flower box (outside the front west jalousie windows of my room and where my mother mostly grew coleus blumei). She sits on my right. We talk about various things as if we had been friends for a long time. She tells me that she has often been called a “bad witch” (partly because she was born on a Friday the thirteenth, it seems, or so I assume at first). She attempts to do some sort of magic trick with a passing car that is headed south on Highway Seventeen, and instead of it working out as she had intended (the car changing into something else or changing its color perhaps?), the license plate from the front of a different car comes off, rotates in the air as it travels, and attaches itself to the back of the car she is focused on. I then say, “You’re kidding” in a matter-of-fact recognition that she is known as a “bad witch” in actually meaning that she is bad at doing magic rather than being mean or “evil” (or “cursed”) in any way. I then start to teach her powerful magic through the rest of my dream (including some rather pointless juggling of oranges) and she seems happy and grateful. I do not learn her name in-dream or at least do not remember it, but my “mystery girl” usually otherwise had the name of Susannah (my soulmate’s actual name being Zsuzsanna).

Carefully validating the exact dates (as I am doing with all of my older dream work, resources, and documentation) and looking at previously “hidden” symbols and metaphorical associations, I think the odd scene with the license plate may actually relate to a letter being sent through the mail, as a letter is in a rectangular envelope (with numbers on it) and actually moves through the air (airmail) from one person to another. This all seems quite true and honest to me presently in how I perceive it. My wife first wrote to me on March 16, 1991, exactly thirteen years from this dream. She was also born on Friday the thirteenth in September as my “dream girl” was.

It has been discovered that the primary influence from this dream goes back quite a number of years. It starts out as an apparent composite of two children’s books; “Miss Suzy” by Miriam Young and “Old Black Witch” by Wende and Harry Devlin. (My wife used “Suzi” when first writing to me.)
