i was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding which was being held on another planet. it turned out that there were way more responsibilities than i'd anticipated, including making three 20 gallon drums of sauerkraut. meanwhile i had so much work to do for my PA client and i was super stressed about getting it all done. i still had to get off of the planet, but for some reason i'd ended up with 4 or 5 different vehicles there and had to find a way to get all of them back to earth. so i'm scrambling around freaking out and i come upon this woman who is weaving with sand. (the planet is quite arid) she has this strange set-up where her loom sits in a crevice below the surface of the desert and sand perpetually spills in onto the loom and is woven into rugs and blankets and other textiles. the people i am walking around with accidentally stop the flow of the sand by walking too close to this crevice so she emerges to talk to us. she takes me down to see her art and how she works. she radiates magic and her studio/home is this bohemian dream. the crevice where the loom sits is lined with hundreds of tiny wooden drawers that surely hold more magic. tho we've never met, she tells me that she used to be my father's care taker when he was a toddler. i am in awe that she knew who i was without knowing me.
