time is a few years from current date [july 8, 2005], somewhere around 2013-2020; setting is akin to dallas, texas. in this time the USA is much more developed than only half a decade before. undeveloped US soil is scarce except in undesirable climate zones, such as deserts. world populace is 8 billion. the secret government occupies every corner of the country (world?); these times are curiously cautious and controlled... legit information is hard to come by and people no longer speak publicly about the flaws of modern governments for fear of being, well, i don't know exactly, but what ever it is, it's pretty bad. overall global affairs not good & getting worse. (surprise surprise!)

a young woman in her 20's owns an arcade shop located a few acres away from the immediate city (dallas metroplex?), acres of which make up a large portion of the last remaining undeveloped land for many miles. the area is much more dry than a few years past almost as if it is turning into a desert. in her arcade is a game machine that stands out . it isn't actually a game though it's well disguised as one. all you have to do is drop a few quarters in it and it will play a witty yet seriously prophetic message in movie format about the future of global affairs that goes something like this:
the USA will be entirely owned and governed by household celebrity names and big-business names alike; in fact, there is no difference between the two. (it lists about 20 of the major players, none of which i recall, but i think the gender balance is almost equally composed of fe/males.) other first-world countries were growing increasingly angry with the US's corruption and lust for global domination. on the inside of the states, the people did as told and questioned nothing[...]; meanwhile everyone across the globe knew of this concentration camp nazi-like order that became of the US of A except its own citizens. thus, despite any historical, cultural or religious differences, the other major countries joined forces to create warfar upon the states to be known as World War 4-- at least until almost all life everywhere was wiped out. there would be much dry land devistation from a new breed of nuclear arms that literally ate away at the atmosphere, burning it up on contact and appearing as tidal waves of fire high in the sky.
