I'm in some kind of gameland. Everything looks real and normal, but there are lots of different game stations. Some in the style of physical challenges/obstacles, others video.
I think you would begin playing them in the video style, but then would get pulled into the game world.
You could carry weapons in the non-game reality.
There was a scene where there was a firefight, but I had to take on a single opponent. We had a few battles of will where we would scramble for discarded weapons and on occasion they would be loaded, but most often they were empty. Battles of strength where I had to use all of my strength to turn the gun. I think eventually I was able to turn it on him with it still in his hands.
He shot me in the left deltoid, and that wound stayed with me because I don't think I died again after that battle.
There was some sort of game timer deal and down-time rules.
I remember towards the end portion of the dream, I was walking around in a ski-mask and that was providing cover for my identity somehow. Because I was 'wanted' I had to go around incognito.
It's hard to recall the overall objective of things. Other than survive.
I don't recall seeing any women in this dream!
There was some kind of system to track your credits/score... and I recall talking to some of my friends about using those to buy weapons in reality, but they suggested saving them for something...
I remember in the 'final round' of gameplay, I was late to jump in. There were only 15 minutes left in the game by the time I had plugged in. I remember bypassing a lot of things and just running for objective...
Earlier in the dream when I was killed, I remember thinking "because it's a game, it won't matter if I die." but upon respawning I recall the feeling that not only had things been taken away (memory specifically) but I had lost time in the development of my character...
