I have recently started on anti-anxiety medication to help ease my generalized anxiety disorder. However one of the side effects of this drug is that I can no longer dream. This is something that upsets me greatly as I take sanctuary in my dreams and relish in the stories they tell me.
Last night I got lucky and managed to dream, albeit a very brief one and quite difficult to remember. One part of the dream stuck with me however. I was in the quad of my old highschool sitting with students as though we were at assembly or waiting to see a show. Before us were 100 drums all lined up in one straight line. Three girls that I knew got up and began to play these drums running up and down hitting each drum. Soon after they approached a table behind the drums and began to drum upon that instead. However with each beat on the table the drums still made a noise.
