screaming from the top of my lungs, arms outstretched, and SOS signals firing from all directions. no human can hear me. trouble has seeped through under doorways and through cracks in the walls, and has created the most effective sound barrier. however, i escape the prison, and run far, far away. when i arrive at a safe place, it is not that safe. the vultures are all for themselves. reaching into my pockets, i pull out lint, a penny, and a flying moth. covered in patches, scratches, and sludge, i seek a friend who can understand what they hell i am saying.
