I had another threshold consciousness experience. First I was dreaming, I was on the phone with Andrew, I asked him when we would meet up again, and his reply sounded like a bunch of weird static noise. I said, "What? I can't understand you, what did you say?" and I kept hearing the same response, as if he was saying the same word, over and over, but it sounded like pulsating static robot noise.
Then I became conscious in reality, but my eyes were closed....I could perceive the light from my room (it was morning) and feel the blankets around me. I started to get a feeling....that feeling like my bed would start to shake....when it shakes it's just like a low soft rumble, like it's rocking...it's not violent. It almost feels like there is something under my bed moving around and I can feel it.
Once that feeling kicked in I knew that I was going to experience sleep paralysis again because it has been happening so frequently, and I;m conscious when it happens.
My body started pulsating and vibrating and I could hear the buzzing sound...I didn't feel frightened this time because I recognized it, so this time I opened my eyes wondering if I was going to see any hallucinations or shadow people again...I didn't, but I could see my hands clasped together in front of my head, against my blankets that were halfway over my head. I experimented with trying to move them....I pushed with all my strength and could only move my hands maybe a half centimeter! I tried to make a sound and nothing could come out of my mouth....my mouth could move though. It's weird, I wonder why my eyes and mouth can open but my body can't move?
I wondered how long I was going to be in this state.....shortly after that I broke out of it and woke up all the way.

Eyes are complex dream symbols and can be interpreted by considering the dreamer's experiences and the details in the dream (as is the case with all dream symbols). Some say that the eyes are the windows for the soul. Eyes symbolize perceptiveness, personal outlook, clairvoyance, curiosity, and knowledge. They also reveal information about personal identity and suggest to the dreamer what they should pay attention to. Closed eyes are said to represent fear and an unwillingness to see clearly. Superstition-based dream interpretations say that if the eyes in your dream are beautiful they represent peace. Crossed eyes may be an unconscious warning about someone’s character, integrity, or misperceptions.

In the dream you may be frozen with fear, and it is up to you decipher what that fear is and what it represents.

This is one of the most valued pieces of furniture. It's where we sleep, rest, restore our minds and bodies and engage in sexual pleasure. The bed is symbolic of all of these things. The bed could also symbolise the bridge between the conscious and the unconscious (i.e. our daily lives and the great unknown, our spirit and our psychological undercurrent). The quality and the cleanliness of the bed in our dreams may say something about the way we feel about ourselves, and our relationships. In reality we "make our own bed," so the dream may reflect that bed and remind us that we have to either change it or lie in it. If there were things hiding under the bed in your dream, it may symbolise secrets that you or others are keeping. If you dream that you are lying in bed, your unconscious may be warning you about potential health problems.
Your hands are used to do things, without them we can do very little. When your hands are metaphorically tied it means you cannot complete a task. If your hands are being affected in a negative way in your dreams it may mean that you feel you are not able to complete certain tasks in your waking life, or that you doubt your ability to complete them. If you see clenched hands, fists, it could signify a greater frustration concerning a given task that you feel should be easier to complete.
In the symbolism pertaining to the body, the most elementary association is the one between the organ or member and its function. It is, then, selfevident that, in Egyptian hieroglyphs, the mouth should stand for the power of
speech and hence for the creative word. In this sense it stands for the pristine
emanation of creative power. Very closely connected with this hieroglyph is
another showing a mouth with a solar disk inside. This disk, primarily standing
for the sun, is connected, but not identical, with the eye. (In hieroglyphs which
are coloured, the eye is wholly blue, while the sign under discussion consists of a
blue mouth with a little red circle inside) (19). Guénon supports this interpretation of the sign (29), pointing to the example of the Mândûkya Upanishad where,
apropos the state of deep sleep, the mouth is said to represent integral consciousness (26). In the Old Testament, the concepts of mouth and fire are frequently
associated; epithets such as ‘devouring’ or ‘consuming’, frequently applied to the
latter, are descriptive of the functions of the former. Hence the fire-breathing
animals of legend. Jung explains these associations by synaesthesia and suggests
that they are connected with Apollo, the sun-god who is depicted with a lyre as
his characteristic attribute. The common link between the symbolisms of sounding, speaking, shining and burning finds a physiological parallel in the phenomenon known as ‘coloured hearing’ whereby some individuals experience sounds
as colours. Furthermore, it is hardly a coincidence that the two main characteristics that set Man apart from all other beings are the power of speech and the use
of fire. Both are, in fact, the product of mana (psychic energy) (31). In consequence, mouth-symbolism, like fire-symbolism, has two aspects: creative (as in
speech) and destructive (devouring). And, of course, the mouth is the point of
convergence between the external and the inner worlds. This explains the frequent
symbol of the ‘monster’s mouth’, with sets of upper and lower teeth that are
expressive of the ‘interlocking’ of the two worlds: heaven and earth or, more
often, hell and earth (50). There are, in mediaeval iconography, abundant examples of the mouths of dragons or large fishes affording access to the inner world
or to the underworld.
To see a mouth in your dream, signifies your need to express yourself or talk about an issue that's bothering you. Alternatively, the dream suggests that you have said too much and you need to keep your mouth shut.
