This happened at the end of a rather intense, vivid and lengthy dream. I woke to an alarm clock before I saw what I believe I needed to see, but such is life.
By the end of this dream, (I'll share the rest later when I feel like writing a whole lot more) I find myself standing on a flowery green hillside in the shadow of the overgrown frame of a building. The moss covered skeleton is all that's left of the ancient modern structure, and I'm looking through a camera at the sky through a little gap in the walls and the floor beams. I'm framing a shot (lucidity check) when I see something that shouldn't be there in the sky, just darkness. . .
When I pull away from the camera, my eyes take in the whole of the sky that I couldn't see before from through the viewfinder... There it is. The mothership. It looks like a floating city, with structures jutting out from above and below its massive black / gray body. The sound- or maybe 'presence' is a better word- that overcame me was utterly haunting. My heart stopped and fear crept like ice through my veins. This thing. . . was it here for me? The sound, the presence, the feeling, grew and grew and grew as this thing loomed up over the hill in front of me.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
DAMN YOU LITTLE BROTHER!
I woke up and could still feel it. I feel like I truly was visited. Just because it was in the dream world, does that mean that something wasn't really trying to contact me??
No, I take it back. That sounds crazy. They'll lock me up if I tell people things like that.... ^_~
