I woke up and realized that I have a photoshoot first thing in the morning. I jumped out of bed and noticed there's something not right about outside. There is no snow piled up in front of my bedroom window. I stood on my tippy toes to glance out. There's no snow at all! This means I'm dreaming and I'll be late for the photoshoot. I closed my eyes and tried to feel my body in the waking world. This technique usually works if I can find my body and force myself to open my eyes or move a limb, so I'll wake up. I must be sleeping harder than I thought because I cannot feel my body at all. I crawled back in bed, closed my eyes, and hoped I'll wake up.
I opened my eyes to find myself in the dark. I glanced out of the window. There's snow where it should be, but it's not as much as I remembered from the waking world. I stood on my tippy toes again and found that I was floating in the sky. It was such a beautiful view. I was above the tip of the mountains and the clouds. But, I really need to get to this photoshoot! My brother came into my room and told me to go back to bed. He opened a jar full of herbs. He told me to sniff it and it should bring me back to the waking world. I took a giant whiff, felt my waking brain jolt, then quickly passed out.
Once again, I opened my eyes, only to find myself in the darkness. Not again, I thought. I peeked out of the window. Everything is where it should be, but something does not feel right. I couldn't figure out if I was still dreaming or not. I decided to go with the flow and hoped for the best. I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I pulled out my phone from my back pocket to check the time. I glanced at repeatedly until I realized that's not my phone. I let out a deep sigh and tossed the phone behind my shoulder. I'm still dreaming. I'm giving up. I might as well have some fun with this. I closed my eyes and allowed myself enter another realm.
I couldn't remember the rest of my dream. But I do remember there was some flying involved. I also remember one part while I was in a white room, having some tea with this guy who I do not know from the waking world. I was telling him that I'll probably be late for a photoshoot because I couldn't wake up from this dream. He looked at me funny. Of course he did.
"Watch this," I sneered. I put my hands above the tea set and it all started to float midair. He looked at me in surprised.
"You think that's cool?" I smirked, "But I can do more. Much more! This is my dream! I can do whatever I want!" I looked around the room and made all of the walls change colors. He started to freak out and was about to leave. I made the only door in the room disappear.
"How are you doing all of this?" he whimpered.
"None of this is real. None of this exists, except in my mind," I smiled, "you are also not real." I watched his panicking expression change to bewilderment. "You want out of this room? Hell, I can make you disappear if I want!" I snapped my fingers and he proofed into thin air.
I finally woke up! I checked my phone and it read 8:15. The shoot starts in 15 minutes! I saw that I missed three phone called from my friend. Damn, I must be sleeping hard. He was running late, so I was able to make it to the shoot on time! This was my first lucid dream in a long time, so I'm pretty stoked about that.

Some say that the eyes are the windows for the soul. Eyes symbolize perceptiveness, personal outlook, clairvoyance, curiosity, and knowledge. They also reveal information about personal identity and suggest to the dreamer what they should pay attention to. Closed eyes are said to represent fear and an unwillingness to see clearly. Superstition-based dream interpretations say that if the eyes in your dream are beautiful they represent peace. Crossed eyes may be an unconscious warning about someone’s character, integrity, or misperceptions.

the beyond, and are also an illustration of any idea of communication. Hence, a

Symbolically, the world is the realm in which a state of existence is
unfolded (25), comprising many component parts adhering together. Used in the
plural, the term pertains, in a sense, to space-symbolism, but the ‘worlds’ are
really only different modes of the spirit (26). The explanation of the cosmic and
moral significance of the three worlds (the infernal, the terrestrial and the celestial) is to be sought in the symbolism of level. The inferior must not always be
equated with the subterranean, for, in megalithic cultures, the latter was usually
located high up, or in the hollow interior of mountains (conceived as the dwellingplace of the dead). Guénon has pointed out that references to the ‘subterranean
world’ are found in a large number of cultural traditions, in which the ‘cult of the
cavern’ or cave is linked with that of the ‘centre’. One must also bear in mind the
equation of the cavern with the cave of the heart, the latter being considered as the
Centre of being or the Egg of the World (28).

The bed could also symbolise the bridge between the conscious and the unconscious (i.e. our daily lives and the great unknown, our spirit and our psychological undercurrent). The quality and the cleanliness of the bed in our dreams may say something about the way we feel about ourselves, and our relationships.
