Sleeping

I am sleeping (in my dream) in my circle chair downstairs (I see myself sleeping in third person). My right side faces the TV, I'm facing the crooked painting I painted on the wall above the blue chair covered in folded blankets, and to my left is the couch with a blue blanket strewn across it. I start to wake up, my eyes barely squinting as I take in the scene (which is exactly what the basement truly looks like, except the black leather circle chair I am sleeping in is not in the same place). I am now in first person again. I try to open my eyes further, but it feels like something is forcing me to stay asleep, like I was being possessed with sleep paralysis. I struggle against it, willing myself to remain conscious, but I hear a vvvvoahhhmmm buzz/humming sound and I am pulled unconscious again.
While asleep (dreaming within my dream) I see a man in a black tattered cloak with a hood that shrouds his face. He is terrifying, threatening. All I see is him, surrounded by nothing but darkness. I have no sense of my own body, but I can feel him staring directly into me. The hood pulls back slightly, and to my horror I see the face of a skull.
I wake (withing my dream), and try to beat the paralysis, refusing to return to that man. Finally, I am able to pull myself awake. I first see my painting on the wall, then my dog Skye on the ground sniffing around, acting normal, though he takes special care to avoid the bathroom. The TV next to me is blinking with amber words which say "continue" on the first line and "game over" on the second. I fell asleep (in my dream) while playing Spyro. It is oddly silent in the basement, and I have the odd feeling of being watched. I leave the TV and PlayStation on, pick up Skye, and go straight upstairs to escape the overwhelming feeling. I see mom, and tell her what just happened to me, about the awful dream and how I was forced asleep, then waking to find Skye avoiding the bathroom and feeling watched. (Then I really woke up, haha) [End]

Relative to Real Life~
Night of October 7th, 2012
Real-life characters: Skye, Mom.
Dream-created characters: Man in cloak.
Real-life places: Home (Cardinal Rd address).
Dream-created places: All black surrounding the cloaked man.
Different than real life: Okay, so I did not fall asleep in the basement nor the chair, I fell asleep in my bed upstairs. I've been playing Spyro, but not in that chair.
Reasons:
Spyro = I've been playing Spyro a lot.
Precognitive: Later, the day after waking from this dream, I go downstairs to get something. Skye comes with me, and growled and retreated from the bathroom area. He acted strange toward the wall separating the bedroom down there and the bathroom the entire time I was down there, looking at the blank wall oddly and having an uncomfortable behavior. It freaked me out to the point of tearing up, it so resembled my dream. He had no reason to act that way.
Reoccurring: No.

Notes: I find it utterly amazing how my mind showed me to such extensive detail an area that I supposedly "fell asleep in". I TRULY believed that I was waking up from a dream. When I did awake for real, I was left very confused. The oddest part was the sound that pulled me into the dream within the dream. It was one of the scariest feelings I've ever experienced within my dreams. Then, to "wake up" and tell my mom about everything as though I was truly awake, ugh, SO disorienting when I really woke! I had to ask her to make sure I didn't already explain it to her. It's been a long time since I've had a dream so, for lack of a better word, freaky.
