I walk into my kitchen and leave the light off. I am in the fridge, looking for something to eat, when I start to hear this annoying ticking noise. I shut the fridge and look at Skye, my dog, who is cocking his head back and forth, looking at the source of the noise. I follow his gaze to find the light switch box in the center of the wall is where the abnormal ringing tick is coming from. I've seen enough horror movies to know to not touch it, at least not alone, so I start to head into the living room to wake my mom and get her to investigate it with me. As I cross into the living room I feel my body drag, my eyes close as I walk as though I'm to tired to open them. I bump into the couch, open my eyes, and see my mom wobbling out of her bedroom, clearly just waking up. Upon seeing her, I realize that I have no idea how I got in the kitchen in the first place. I was sleep walking. I try to walk toward her, but only get past the couch. I hear her say my name before I get really light headed and scared. I start to fall backwards toward the sofa. "I need help," I beg as I collapse, my back hitting the seat and my bottom hitting the floor. [End]
Relative to Real Life~
Night of August 26th, 2013
Real-life characters: Skye, Mom.
Dream-created characters: None.
Real-life places: Kitchen, hallway, living room.
Dream-created places: None.
Different than real life: I was not sleep walking. Right after I collapsed onto the couch, I woke up from my sleep walking dream to find that I was still in bed, and hadn't left. There is also no light switch box on the wall where there was in my dream.
Reasons:
Sleep walking/knowing I was dreaming = Lately I've been trying to achieve lucid dreaming, and I think that this dream is proof that I am getting ever closer!
Precognitive: No experiences.
Reoccurring: No.
