I am standing on a gray cube platform about the size of a house, something that reminds me of Assassin’s Creed’s Animus. In the center of the surface I stand on is a stair case leading up. Sherlock and I stand at the base of it. He tells me he’s going to be right back, that he just needs a quick words with his informants before we continue on with the case. I agree to wait at the base of the stairs for him to get back.
Time ticks by on my watch. I keep looking at my phone expecting a text and imagining I’m hearing the ring, but there’s nothing. No sign of him. I realize something must be wrong. I’m about to shout up the staircase to him, when on another cube-shaped gray platform across from us is a group of men in suites walking down glass staircase, carrying briefcases and wearing dark sunglasses. I duck under the staircase I wait by, thankful it’s solid and not glass, and I get as low as possible to hide. I hear what they say even though they’re so far away.
They speak about killing the rat informant weeks ago, laugh about it even. The same informant that Sherlock has supposedly been talking with. Something is so wrong. SO wrong. I jump to my feet again when they are out of view and am about to race up the stairs when I nearly run straight into Sherlock. “What took you so long!” I gasp and hit his shoulder for scaring me.
He tells me what I already know, and takes my hand. “We need to get out of here, now.” [End]

Reasons:
Assassin’s Creed Animus = I’ve been playing the latest game, Black Flag, as of late.
Sherlock = Obsessed with Sherlock lately.
Killing a guy within the past week = My mom was watching a show in which this guy needed to get to a farmer in Mexico, and when he got there it turned out the guy had been killed within the week.
