Me and my mom stand in the front yard at my dad’s house. We’re telling him goodbye before he goes on his vacation trip to the Bahamas. My dad gives me a hug and kisses my mom bye on the cheek. He walks over to the ditch by the trees and gets into his silver truck. He drives out of the deep ditch onto the road and drives away. From behind I see that it’s not actually the truck but a jeep with a blue tailgate. He suddenly stops on the road. I run over to him since he’s not but a block away, and ask him what’s wrong. He tells me that his GPS is all screwy. He didn’t want to update it before the trip, but it decided to update on it’s own so now he has to wait until it’s done to leave.
Now I’m playing Call of Duty: Ghost. I’m doing pretty well, kneeling behind a wall at the top of some stairs shooting bad guys that try to climb up them. I’ve killed about five in a row so far. I get shot at from a different angle from where I was looking, so I retreat. I run to the beginning of the map, where everyone is let out at, and see a secret little hallway that leads to an area of the game that players aren’t supposed to be able to access. I sneak down this narrow path, the walls lining it black and square. I come to the end, where the path lets out to a large square room that’s at least 5,000 sq. feet that’s walls are blue and covered in code and lines like a circuit board in silver. In the center of this area is two vehicles. One looks like a large motorcycle. Huddled around them is a bunch of green, big headed aliens and one pink glob man. I shoot the pink thing first, then start taking out the aliens. They run away to an unseen door, but I get them all. Once the threat is gone, I walk closer to the vehicles. My dogs Lily and Boots are following behind me. The floor is tiled with pixelated frowny faces.
Boots barks his high-pitched girly bark twice in a row, getting me to turn back and look at him. He’s blind, so he can’t find the door. He does a moonwalk backwards, knowing the door is behind him but not sure where. [End]

Different than real life: My mom and dad have been divorced for three years and haven’t spoken since, my mom hasn’t been to his house since the divorce, my dad did go to the Bahamas the day after this dream- but he was already in Florida so his goodbye was over the phone not in person, Boots was put down a few years ago due to old age.

Goodbye from Dad = He did call me to tell me he was heading to the Bahamas the day leading to this dream.
