Travis Needs a Ride

Me and Mary are perched in a tree. I’m laying on top of one branch while another rubs up against my back. I make a joke calling the branch on my back Misha Collins. She’s not so entertained, but she does point at the branch. I look over my shoulder at it, and I see a small oval picture frame with a black and white photo of Misha in it. I laugh at the coincidence, before both of our attentions are drawn to our friend Travis skipping into the field next to the parking lot of the high school. He’s wearing a pink tutu and trying to show off, be funny.
We laugh at him, but when his bus leaves without him, it’s no longer such a funny stunt. He’s stressed, about to call his parents to get a ride home which he knows will piss them off. I feel bad for him, so I climb down out of the tree and run over to him, where he stands at the doors that go into the school. Before he dials his mom, I tell him that I can give him a ride in my jeep to his house if he wants, to avoid the reprimand. He argues that his house is way out of the way from where I need to go, but I knew that before I offered and assure him that I don’t mind. He accepts. I run around the parking lot, which is full of campers and boats that are at least two stories high, and finally find my forest green and brown most-frame jeep. All three of us climb inside.
I pull up to a McDonalds, and me and Travis go inside. He’s going to call his mother, and I follow him through the glass doors into a back room. We awkwardly pass by our English teachers, who make fun of me for some reason or another. After the call is done and we pass by the snarking teachers again, I comment, “I swear they hate me.”
Now I sit down next to Travis’s (actually Weston’s) dad, and Travis sits on my left in the booth. I’m eating with Travis’s family. Travis’s dad looks at the papers I have sitting in front of me. Travis moves the one on top to the bottom, because for some reason it would be inappropriate for his dad to see that. It was something that would embarrass me. I appreciate it. The paper his dad does see is a worksheet for art class, or geometry. The conversation turns toward it and I feel uncomfortable because I’m always uncomfortable talking about myself. [End]

Relative to Real Life~
Night of April 5th, 2014
Real-life characters: Mary, Travis, “Misha Collins”, both English teachers, Travis’s (really Weston’s) dad.
Dream-created characters: Other people at the table in McD’s.
Real-life places: School, parking lot.
Dream-created places: Tree, McD’s.
Different than real life: I haven’t spoken to Travis nor Mary since I graduated high school with them in 2011- we are not on a friendship basis anymore, Weston’s dad is not Travis’s dad, I’ve only sat down with Travis’s family once in my life years ago, I haven’t been back to the school since I graduated, I do not own nor drive a huge mostly-frame jeep.
Reoccurring: No.
Precognitive: No experiences yet.
Notes: I was ill when I dreamt this dream.
