Imaginary Singer

I am in a dark hallway singing and dancing with an imaginary microphone in school. I struggle to stay standing. I keep falling over, dizzy, but I do manage to get to my feet. Three girls have been admiring my perseverance from afar, and decide to walk over to me the last time I stand. I declare that we are going to dance together, and become a band of sorts. Together we go to our Dauntless classroom and are waiting for class to be over to do our performance. But, there is a disturbance and the boys that caused the ruckus have to be publicly punished in the middle of the classroom. The classroom actually looks like a large living room with couches in a circle around a rectangular coffee table. The boys lay face down on the floor next to the table while they are drenched in water, as their shamming.
Then these promiscuous cheerleaders get up on the stage to our left by the windows in scampy Santa outfits. They do a “dance”. Our plan was to take to the stage after class and surprise everyone, but there is no way we can follow their “act” now. Instead we decide to call it off until a later time.
I stay after class, the class now being a silent auction, to clean up the mess the cheerleaders left. My friends leave without me. I take tape off the tinsel that decorates the rim of the stage. Then I notice some baby girl clothes that I like and pick them up. Then I start browsing through the other things for sale. A chick freaks out about her clock. She’s desperately trying to find her Mickey Mouse clock that wasn’t supposed to be sold. I ask her what it looks like, and she replies sharply and impatiently. She then apologizes for taking it out on me, when I’m just trying to help. I find a Mickey Mouse clock similar to the one she described, except it has more white than the all black one she’s lost. Though it’s not hers, she’s very thankful. I tell her I’ll keep my eye out for the real one.
I leave and get ready to pay for the items in my arms near a table where a few old ladies sit taking money. I remember to go back and put a necklace I made amongst the items to see if anyone will buy it. It’s a simple pendant of two silver feathers. [End]
