Sleepover at My Uncle's House

I am at my aunt and uncle’s house with my mom. It’s late. My aunt and my mom talk about something while my uncle shows the the Skylandersish game that he’s been playing. I say that I’d love to play it. He says that it’s harder than it looks, and the way the levels are set up, you have to beat an entire world before you can stop. He shows me an example. Sure enough he has to complete around six islands before the timer stops and he barely gets it done. He highlights a portion of an island on the map to show me just how big the world is. I tell him that I could do it, once I learn all the buttons and stuff. He argues that I’d have to do all the mining quest and there’s a lot to learn that I’d have to do in single player on my own before I’m good enough to try it over here. I submit.
A while passes and my mom is gone, she went home with Granny and Papa I guess, since my car is still outside. I look over at my aunt and uncle on the couch from the kitchen table I sit at, and see they’re both asleep. I decide I best go to bed as well, and go to the back guest room. I crawl into bed and imagine I’m holding onto a human Sully.
In the morning, I drowsily wake up and see that I’m not in my room. I’m in the room I fell asleep in. I’m not wearing a top, so I pull the blankets up over my bare breasts. I sit up enough to see over the edge of the L-shaped white couch/bed I woke up on, and see my aunt busying herself with cleaning near the front door. It’s super early morning, so I was hoping to leave before anyone got up, but of coarse she’s already awake and working. I hope my head is peeking over the edge just enough that she won’t see me.
“Good morning Steph,” she says.
Damn. I try to say good morning back but my throat is crackly. She comes down the hallway and goes into her and my uncle’s bedroom, saying hi again, thinking that I didn’t hear her since I couldn’t reply.
“Hi,” I finally get out. She enters the door of her bedroom and the wall disappears. She crawls into bed with my uncle, who once seeing me, pulls the blankets startlingly over his bare chest before burying his face into my aunt’s back. Then the kids come in, and when they do I notice that there are six Christmas trees in the room, covered in lights and a few covered in ornaments. I’m confused by this. It’s April, what are Christmas trees doing in here? Maybe it’s a Christmas in July thing? But… It’s April… These weren’t here before, so they haven’t just left them up since Christmas. They put them up. But, why?
The kids want to do something with the little fake present decorations with my aunt. My uncle gets up and gets a turtle from deeper in the house and sets in on the night stand.
“What the heck? That’s a real turtle?” I gasp, looking at the large turtle he just set down. It’s one of their pets that I never knew about.
My uncle laughs at me and says yes before getting back into bed. “So, Steph, I think it’s time you leave.”
I’m a bit taken aback by the abruptness, but I suppose he’s right. I technically wasn’t invited to sleep over anyways. [End]
